Post here alll Comments about my Snowballl Fight map.

I would like that the jump right and left get effects :). That would be rly kewl... maybe a real jump or a slide effect.

Now i decided to make each hero with different Stats and skills.
Each will have a special uniqui ability
I already got some ideas but i need some more biggrin

-Warden has a simple blink which can be activaded with a double-richtclick
-Mountain King has Thunderclap which slows all enemys at the map for a short duration and slows down all flying Snowballs
-...?

The mk can let rebound the balls with the right timing ... like a shield... and its just a second there. The animation should be like he would make his stun ability when he smash a ball back.

Ok , for now Snake TD gets a little pause because its nearly finished and ill wait for some feedback

There is already a chance to conter Snowballs if you are facing them a bit and got a high Reflext value

=> Process :
making the spells of teh heros , [4/8] done

- Warden : Blink (can also be activaded with a doubleklick)
- Mountain King : Thunderclap (slows down all enemys and all flying Snowballls on the map)
- Golem : Magical Magnetism (attracts all Snowballs on the map but rejects all flying ones)
- Tuskar : Tripple Spear (Trows three little fast spears which can kill the enemys , wont rebounce )
- Infernal left
- Archimonde left
- Troll left
- Zombie left

Now i need some good ideas for the left Heros

Damn , i had 10 heros and not 8 ^^ -> [6/10] Spells now

New :
- Archimonde : Demonic Power ,( 25% Percentage chance to throw the Snowball with 1,5 times of the speed
- Troll : Insane Reflexes ( Increased chance to catch/conter Snowballs , each time he does he will get a 12 seconds Moventspeed increase)
- Zombie left
- Infernal left
- Dreadlord left
- Firelord left

I still need some ideas for the left Heros

For the zombie I got a idea. Maybe he could make the Zombie Wall like in D3. But in Snowball Fight the zombie wall dont kill units no it let rebound the snowballs if they hit the zombie wall.

Infernal: Aura: Heat Wave
    Increases the friction the snowball has on the ice, therefore slowing it down if it comes anywhere near him by 50%.

New Ability :

- Dreadlord : Fear ( Fears all enemys and causes them to have 1/3 of their throw power for 10 seconds)

- enhanced Bot AI
they do not simply jump away if a snowball comes near
No they interact different depending on their buffs or skills
e.g. The Ice Troll tries to catch snowballs if he has a good chance ... maybe this AI is a bit too good... kinda imba because he nearly got all Balls or dodges them xD
Also they skill their attributes depending on the Hero they got

For tests if wanted i uploaded the current version i am working on

I played it its very funny. But currently there is no atmosphere. That means no matching music, no matching sounds and the gameplay is currently to slow I think. The jump effect is now ok. And the bot is now also ok sometimes hes also beatable. Good job, keep working.

I are teh better bug find4 xD

Ok, first of all, nice concept but it needs more gamespeed, to improve gameplay and less confusing terrain art. The ball and and terrain having the same color, makes it harder to see where's the next ball. plus, I also found some bugs. 1# Typo; Attribute Strength. You wrote "learn Stregth" fix this to avoid being humiliated xD, second one First create the multiboard, adjust all settings, then show multiboard to avoid wrong size of multiboard, not showing "kills deaths". Or just minimize/maximize mutliboard after creation. Third bug, the Winning condition pops up several times after defeat ( image, clickme and the fourth is, that player 2 ( bot ) is called "Bot__#2" and not "Bot #2" ( there's one space too much. )

PS: I fuckin' lost against bots D;

Since i do now know how to open the News thead again iill post here

After my quite long time of being offline im back working on a project. My old plan is still the same : Finish Snowball Fight , Then focus on 28 Month later !

Worked a bit on Snowball Fight so far.

-Fixed a bug which caused to dublicate Balls when throwing
-Fixed Various bux

Added new Special Abilities
Current state :

-Tuscar (WaRadius) : The Tuskar drags three sharp spears and throws them in the targeted direction killing all hit enemys.Cooldown = 48 Seconds

-Firelord : The Firelord has the ability to control fire which offers him the possibility to pick up snowballs from a range of 300.

-Archimonde : Archimonde gets support of the underworld which grants him a 25% chance to throw Snowballs with a great speed

-Dreadlord : The Dreadlord has such a terrifying appearance that all enemy Units fall into a shock beeing unable to throw with their full power. Cooldown = 44 Seconds

-Ice Troll (JonNny) : The Ice Troll has Insane reflexes increasing his chances to catch or conter a Snowball greately. Each time he does so he will fall into a fury increasing his movementspeed for 12 seconds.

-Mountain King (Hanky) : Smashes the ground with all of his power slowing down all Enemys for 1.75 seconds and nearly stops all flying enemy Snowballs. Cooldown = 32 Seconds

-Infernal : The Infernal has such a huge claw that he is able to hold two snowballs at the same time.

-Golem : Activades a special magnetic field for 5 seconds which attracts all Snowballs in range and rejects all flying ones. Cooldown = 36 Seconds

Plans:
-Warden : The Warden has such a fast reaction that she can dodge Snowballs by blinking away instead of getting hit. Cooldown = 80-100 not sure

-Zombie : Places up to two invisible skeleton Traps which will conter a Snowball when getting hit.
Not sure about this one.. its strange but i wanted to have "traps" in it ... matches better to the Wrden but then ive got nothing good for zombie

Other Plans:
-Finish game modes
-Rework all Text messages
-Add sounds (Doublekill /Killingspree , ... maybe also music)
-Make it famous

Nice first release. But there were some small flaws:
- you had a typo in the attribute descriptions
- after you unit died your hero don't get automaticly selected

What you could add:
- a minimap preview
- sounds + music
- selectable difficulties for the AI

I know, everywhere are little typos >.< till now i was too lazy to fix
hmm.. right , i recognized it too that you have to reselect the hero but i forgot it, thanks for reminding me to fix that xD

Yeah , there are also plans which include a previw and sounds (UT sounds like Doublekill ect.) , not sure about music
difficulties for AI´s shouldnt be that hard, i can just add a option to make them stupid >.<
